Food Bloggers – June/July 2012

  • Home hospitality – Friday night dinner at a lovely home in Newe Zedek (Tel Aviv)

Music Bloggers – March 2012

We introduced them to some amazing bands, singers and people behind the scenes of the Indie-rock music world, including: Friday night dinner at Nir & Ilana Brand‘s beautiful home in the Carmel Market, together with Kobi Farhi the lead singer of the heavy metal band Orphaned Land and Mira Awad, who took the darbuka and sang some beautiful songs for us in the living room!

We were lucky enough to meet the crews of Monocrave, Audiomontage and Anova Music who organized some great showcases (the latter also organized a cool mingling even for us!) – we got to see Acollective, Geva Alon, Ninet, Marsh Dondurma, Shmemel, The Apples, Boom Pam, Izabo, Kitzu, Rockfour, Electra & Eatliz. We had a tailor made home show by Oren Barzilay and even sneaked into a few concerts: Useless Id, Tiny Fingers and Mashina & Infected Mushrooms!

We were also hosted by Yossi Fine & Khalas – the Arab Rock Orchestra, Karolina & The Balkan Beat Box while they were each rehearsing and got to visit Idan Raichel, Achinoam Nini and Kutiman in their own private homes!

Had the honor of spending time with some cool Israel buddies: eating a meal with Liron Teeni (who also interviewed then live on radio), lunch on the Tel Aviv seaport with Quami de la Fox and Nadav Ravid, dinner/dancing with Ivri Lider and TYP.
